Kenya & Uganda

Kenya and Uganda, August 2016  from Liz Guntrip

The main purpose in visiting the little village church in Kenya was to run a Bible Camp.  The teaching gave an enormous boost to local believers.  Other ministry included distributing local-language Bibles and clothes, honouring the widows with care packs and a foot-washing ceremony, prayer-walking the new church premises and symbolically planting trees on it.  Foundations have been laid for the building, but constant physical attacks stalled building and the making of bricks for many months. God miraculously intervened during the night meetings and sent angel soldiers to patrol the perimeters.  Locals passing by saw them on different nights and later complained to the pastor that we had gone too far in hiring an army to protect us.  “What are you Christians afraid of?” one man asked.  People were healed and salvations reported.  One young teenage girl from a village 40 km away waited a year for this Bible Camp and came seeking deliverance from demons; she was set free and together with her parents has been saved and pastors have since been evangelising their village which had no Christian witness. Please pray for the funds to come in to complete the church building and furnish it.  In Uganda, we visited small village churches to teach and encourage them in their Christian walk.

Report from Brian Steele:

Thanks be to God for a successful and fruitful mission to Tonga.

With Rosanne unable to come, my assistant, Cameron & I ministered with God’s enabling to the Nation of Tonga in a number of settings.

The ministry in all areas was well received.

A new understanding of unity and honour has been imparted to the apostolic leaders of the churches and the people of Tonga have warmly received a greater understanding of the prophetic destiny of the nation.

Praise God for provision and strength for the task!!!!!

Robin & Janette Johnson | Vietnam & Cambodia

Dear friends & partners,

Wow, can’t believe how fast the time goes by as it is almost three weeks since arriving home. I was unwell the first two so that didn’t help.  All good now.

Thank you for praying during the last trip. Once again it was a blessed time and good to see the ongoing growth of the churches in Vietnam, especially in the North. The two leadership schools were well attended and enjoyed.

In 2008 we had one church in Hanoi, today there are 40 and another 15 outside the city region and more are being planned. The dynamic of the Holy Spirit is still very evident and to see the transformed lives is the best reward ever.

The drug rehab’ centres are still going well with young men being rehabilitated. Our first and main centre is once again being extended to accommodate the great need. We urgently need a breakthrough to also establish a centre for young women.

The two leadership schools in Cambodia went well and it is good to also see the growth taking place there.
